Alternative rock fans will be interested to hear Long Island’s Sir Cadian Rhythm, a quintet that combines many musical influences to create a funky, poppy blend. Their debut EP, released February 7, boasts very strong rhythm section interplay and vocals that will have all the girls falling in love. But don’t take my word for it — have a listen to the third track, “Ouroboros,” and find out for yourself.
This is a group that fans of Connecticut bands Forget Paris or Mile Marker Zero could really get into. Their next show is 3/14 at the Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue, NY — but check back on their site to find out when they’ll be playing a little closer to (our) home.
