Everybody’s favorite bummed out noise rockers, Grizzlor, are having a release show for their excellent new album Destructoid on September 23 in New Haven at Three Sheets. Those who were wondering how the band would do on their first full length have to nothing to worry about, because they have shattered expectations. It’s easily one of the best records to come out of Connecticut this year regardless of genre; in addition, it’s one of the best noise/loud rock releases this year. They’ve certainly come a long way in such a short period of time.
(I gave it a glowing review in a national publication for which I write. So, I’m stoked on it.)
Joining Grizzlor in the festivities will be everybody’s favorite hardcore weirdos, Intercourse (who still might have copies of their most recent release, the excellent Pissing Into The Abyss 7″ on hand), along with shirtless punk n roll wildmen, Honch.
To sweeten the deal, the show is absolutely free. (Though it is 21+). So, there is no reason why you won’t have some extra cash to pick up Destructoid. You’re going to want this one. It rips.
So, mark you calendar and get ready to rage.
